In the new series French master patissier Eric Lanlard reveals his hot tips for baking success. Each episode features two of Eric's quick and easy-to-follow recipes, and a contest to find some home-grown baking talent.
Quick Bakes
Each episode features Quick Bakes - Eric's quick but delicious recipes for Cakes and pastries. Dessert Bakes - Eric shares some perfect puddings with the 'wow' factor to impress your guests. The Bake Off will feature three keen amateur bakers who will visit Eric's kitchen at Cake Boy to be judges on their sweet or savoury bakes. Eric will judge their bakes based on appearance, budget and above all taste. The winner is invited to join Eric for a one-on-one master baking class.

In series one, Eric tackled celebration cakes with a family bake club, encouraging a little healthy sibling rivalry along the way. By way of a club from Brazil, a group of healthy bakers, some baking boxers, baking bloggers and sculptors that like to turn their cakes into works of art, Eric works his way through the most commonly asked baking questions.
With episodes dedicated entirely to cooking with chocolate and summer fruits, making pastry, party cakes, cakes for afternoon tea and French patisserie goodies, Eric proves that baking needn't be time consuming or complicated for amateurs and pros alike.
Meet the Bake Clubs...
In each episode Eric invites a different bake club - groups of enthusiasts who meet regularly to bake and swap recipes - to join him in his kitchen. With the home-baking craze gaining momentum, Eric indulges in some friendly competition with the groups, while offering advice on how they can improve on old favourites and providing the inspiration to try something new.
First up are The Teachers - a group of friends who studied together. The group is after cutting-edge cupcake recipes for its 'final meal on death row' themed dinner parties. Eric takes them through the basics and offers new recipes to die for, before finally creating a cupcake specific to the tastes of each member of the group.
